Start the game in one of three mode of play:
CAMPAIGN: Defeat the boss of each arena to unlock extra characters, weapons and levels
DEATHMATCH: Create your own custom game with your own teams, settings and rules in a melee style blood-bath
SURVIVAL: Defeat as many enemies as you can and then submit your score to the online scoreboard
Default controls: -LEFT: move left -RIGHT: move right -UP: jump -DOWN: block -Z: attack 1 -X: attack 2 (you can change the controls in the settings menu)

Chaos faction, the online game of blood and insanity (forget the blood part but it can get insane) Campaign: Defeat the boss of each of the 12 normal levels and the 3 bonus levels to unlock characters,weapons,and levels Deathmatch: Create a custom game that can have up to 6 players,and up to 3 teams,you can also play solo against up to 5 other solo players Survival: Make your character and get pitted into battle in the alpine with 5 lives against 1 enemy after another,try to beat the top score of 9,999,999,999.good luck! Special attacks: When you get magic and push x it does a special laser attack that kills all unprotected enemys on the screen,it also stuns enemys that touch the laser(note if you use this you only get 1 magic attack instead of 3) Thanks to Vicky for this description
