Naruto is a manga by Masashi Kishimoto with an anime TV series adaptation. Its titular main character, Uzumaki Naruto, is a loud, hyperactive, adolescent ninja who constantly searches for approval and recognition.
The manga was first published in Japan, by Shueisha, in the 43rd issue of the Shonen Jump magazine in 1999. VIZ Media publishes a translated version in the American Shonen Jump, and has translated roughly a third of the series. Naruto has become VIZ Media's best-selling manga series.
Viz also licensed the anime for North American production. Naruto debuted on Cartoon Network's Toonami programming block on September 10, 2005, at 9:00 p.m. EST in the United States, and on YTV's Bionix on September 16, 2005, at 9:30 p.m. EST (since changed to 8:00 p.m.) in Canada. Starting July 22, 2006, Jetix will show the first 26 episodes of Naruto in the UK at 5.00 p.m., according to the latest Sky / Sky kids magazine. Starting on June 12, 2006, Cartoon Network is showing Naruto at 9:00 p.m. EST, Monday through Thursday, starting with the first episode.
INSTRUCTIONS for PCs and MACs
Use the 'Set As Wallpaper' option of your Internet Browser:
Click on the resolution you wish to download - select the appropriate size for your display.
A window with the full size image will be displayed.
Click your right mouse button on the full-size image and select 'Set As Wallpaper' from the pop-up menu to set the image as you desktop's wallpaper.
Mac OS 9x Users:
Click on the resolution you wish to download - select the appropriate size for your display.
A larger version of the image will display.
Under the File menu, select 'Save As'.
Choose the folder you wish to save the picture in. We suggest the 'Desktop Pictures' Folder (located in the Appearances folder section of your System folder. Be sure and select 'Source' as the proper format at the bottom of the Dialog box.
You can rename the file before you save it.
After saving the picture, under the Apple menu, select 'Control panels, Appearance.' Select the 'Desktop' tab.
Activate the 'Place Picture' button, (if you already have a photo displayed on your desktop, you'll need to 'Remove Picture' first) and select the file you just saved from the 'Choose A File' dialog box. Click on the 'Choose' button.
We suggest the 'Center On Screen' or 'Tile On Screen' choices for photo placement.
Click on the 'Set Desktop' button. Close the Appearance dialog box.
Mac OS X Users:
Select resolution
Control click - select 'save image as', and save the image to your hard drive - it's suggested you save it to your 'Pictures' folder.
For Mac OS X (10.3), go to System Preferences (on the Apple menu) and choose Desktop & Screen Saver (in Personal): Desktop (control-clicking the desktop and choosing Change Desktop Background... from the pop-up menu will also get you there), then click Choose Folder... (in the left panel) and select the folder in which you saved the picture. Click the picture in the right panel to display it as your desktop background. Recent versions of Mac OS X also provide options for displaying different pictures at different times.
For Mac OS X (10.1 and 10.2), from the Apple menu, select System Preferences: Desktop, then choose a picture. For 10.0, from the Finder menu, select Preferences, then choose a picture.
