It plans to release Barbie And The Magic Of Pegasus, a first Barbie direct to home entertainment movie which is based on an original storyline. We can expect this release to be in the Fall of 2005. This features 3D Animation which is also a first in little girl movies.

The Characters: The movie features characters such as Barbie as Princess Annika, Brietta the Pegasus, which is a mythical horse with wings, Rayla the Cloud Queen who is the kind and gentle ruler of the Magical Cloud Kingdom, the tiny artistic Cloud Princess Kelly, and Prince Aidan, Princess Annikas beau. The twist in the tale is that Brietta the Pegasus turns out to be Princess Annikas sister. The movie weaves the themes of sisterhood and love into the story.
